Mood: waiting for wind
25th April 2010
Windsurfing: Camber Sands - Jurys Gap
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: 5.3m weather
Surf / Sea State: flat for Camber, but some ramp
Air Temperature: toasty
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: Sunny & windy
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Just what the doctor ordered .... a sweet session wiv da posse at Camber.
Wind blowing from the right direction for a change.
Sun shining.
Got to the beach bang on cue for the wind, rigged the right kit up first go and stuck with it for over 3 hours.
For Camber, the waves were tiddlers, more bump and jump to be honest, but there were some nice ramps to launch off and also the odd funsize wave to smack ... got a nice backside off the lip off one which was cool.
Sailed just upwind of the kiters and was having great fun, then sailed up to Little Maui, and then back again as loadsa guys opted to change down, the fools .... carried on as I was on the 5.3m / 95l combo and sailed back down to Jurys again.
Packed up as wind eased off a bit, just as the Geriatric Looper launched with his 4.7m & twin fin (it was a good call at the time, I was going to rig my 4.7m & twin fin from the outset tbh) .... so, tired, happy, and little rosy bonced .... time to pack up for the day ... well, for the next 5-6 weeks I guess ... but it was a cracking session so HAPPY DAZE :-)
Until the next one ....
